The Moat along the Bishop's Palace

What a beautiful sunny Sunday morning the last fortnight has been great in Wells last Tuesday I think was the only wet day this week. Looking along the Bishop's Palace moat towards the Bishops Eye and the market place. This is our Indian summer ? after a miserable summer.

Sunday morning out for a cycle round the cycle path warm sunniy morning along the moat around the Bishops Palace here in Wells. The moat level is very low, little water running to the St Andrews stream.

Along the moat to the cascade that forms from whence Wells gets it's name the Wells. A bit windy from the north east but lovely and warm out the wind.

I think the May Pole School children probably managed to complete thier dances before the storm. Here it's looking soggy after the rain.

General view of the stage just after rain had blown through, luckily for the Blue School band ''Class Apart'' they finished there set just as it started lashing down. Video here soon.

Mendip Slides had two inflatables for the children's amusment, shown here after the down pour, Children still using it absoluley soaked through!
